location: Keysborough

creating homes that can adapt, transform and accommodate different occupants and their demands.

Part 1

the studio encourages designs to push the capabilities of spaces and how they can transform and evolve in order to accommodate the needs of different clients and situations. (eg. wheelchair, couple, mother and daughter.etc) With 70m^2 of maximum floor space per module, and 7 different scenarios to be applied in the space, efficient systems and calculative deicions were made in order to achieve a fully functional, adaptable home.

Part 2

The apartments were then combined into a multi-residential project and now additional amenities such as laundry facilities, bike storage, play area, car parking and communal BBQ area were added.
